Warranty

WARRANTY POLICIES

• Manufacturer Warranty: Most of Star Furniture’s furniture is warranted against defects in material or workmanship, under the manufacturer’s warranty only, except when specifically stated by the manufacturer or by Star Furniture policies. Some manufacturers offer extended warranties on all or certain parts of their products. Claims under these warranties are to be made with the manufacturer and Star Furniture can assist you in this process. Warranty coverage only applies to the original purchaser of the picked-up or delivered furniture.

• Extended Warranties: Star strictly adheres to manufacturers’ warranties. Extended manufacturers’ warranties that exceed one year will be subject to transportation, labor and service fees. Extended warranties purchased as additional protection packages should be brought to the attention of the warranty program provider.

• Accessories: Carefully inspect all pictures, lamps and accessories before you take them with you. Accessories are not serviced.


REFUNDS

• Refund Checks: All refund checks are issued by Star Furniture Only. There are NO CASH REFUNDS and NO Refunds are credited to the bank card used as payment.

• Special Orders: There are strictly no refunds for special order items. These items include, but are not limited to, custom upholstery selections and sizes and catalog orders.

• Picked-Up Items: Furniture picked-up from our store is not refundable or returnable after it has been picked up and transported from our facility. (Our delivery services help protect against damage in transport and we cannot warranty or accept return of items in your care.)

• Accessories: Due to health reasons, comforter sets, pillows and mattress pads/covers cannot be returned and you will be charged for full value of these items if not returned on the same day as purchase in their original packaging. Furniture protection kits are not refundable unless returned at time of delivery. Spray programs (when applied) are not refundable for any reason.


REPAIRS AND SERVICE

• Star Furniture strictly adheres to Manufacturer warranties for furniture sold in its store. The furniture manufacturer determines whether items requesting repair fall under their warranties. Star Furniture will request pictures from you of your damaged furniture to help aid them in the review and repair process.

• Star Furniture reserves the exclusive right to perform service in your home, in our shop, or at the manufacturer’s factory depending on the level of service or repair needed. Star Furniture reserves the right to remove your furniture for a reasonable amount of time to make the appropriate repair for your items or request that you bring your furniture to our facility for repair.

Service Times – Shipping or Installing Replacement Parts

We understand the inconvenience caused in the repair process and we would appreciate your understanding that it takes time to order parts, transport them and make final repairs. We are here to facilitate the repair process as quickly as possible but you must know that these things take time and we will always provide you with estimates on time for service. Please be patient!


GETTING SERVICE, SERVICE FEES AND SERVICE AREAS

• To make a service request, please call us at the store during normal business hours (661) 324-9720.

• Please bring small items for repair in your car. Star Furniture, at its discretion, will come to your home for larger items subject to our local delivery area and service limit and applicable fees. Star Furniture reserves the right to remove your furniture for a reasonable amount of time to make the appropriate repair for your items or request that you bring your furniture to our facility for repair.
